Will you be joining us for this adventure in supporting local Shepards, natural dyers and pattern writers? The Three Rivers Fibershed is happy to announce its first ever make-a-long (MAL), a 20-week crafting MAL open to all types of crafters. Simply start and complete a project between May 10 and September 30th with Visit Nash Lake Fiber Farm this coming weekend and support many TRF Stewards and other local vendors! πŸ‘πŸ§Ά

Named after the Mississippi, Minnesota, and St. Croix rivers, Three Rivers Fibershed works to develop strong, community-centered textile systems that build soil health and enhance stewardship within a 175 m Early giving has already begun for Give to the Max Day on Thursday!

The Three Rivers Fibershed relies on a small but mighty board of directors and an expanding network of volunteers and contractors. Your support this Give to the Max Day will help us Join us November 18th to view the gallery exhibit @andersoncntr, talk with artists, and learn more about #fromsheeptoshawl! πŸŒΏπŸ‘

#threeriversfibe The From Sheep to Shawl Makers have finished their projects and the results are incredible! 

This shawl was made by @natalie.claire.reece and is a plain weave, 8 epi that is worked from back to front. The warp was split at the shoulders and woven wi Lindsey of @icelandicacres is a shepherd, spinner, knitter, and natural dyer based in Claremont, MN. She is a wealth of knowledge about sheep breeds and fiber types from growing up with sheep and now having her own! 

She made the Cat’s Paw Sha Looking for a great weekend outing? The @fallfiber is coming up November 4th at Eisenhower Community Center. Several of these skeins found their way from #sheeptoshawl for my @threeriversfibershed project. I’m finishing it up, weaving in ends and learning how to block πŸ€“ and then I’ll sh Many of our stewards will be in attendance @minnesotafiberfestival this Saturday!
