We are a second and third generation sheep producer. The flock was started by Nathan's older sister as a 4-H project in 1972 starting with Suffolks. Corriedales were quickly as another breed by another sister. That configuration was in place until 1986 when Nathan's mother added Lincoln Longwools to the flock. The Suffolks were liquidated in 1996.
Nathan's father taught shearing, was a wool buyer and served on several state and national boards promoting wool, even going to Russia with the American Sheep Industry to gain access to that large market. We have always emphasized fleece and structure in our animals. Since taking over in 2019, we have put in sustainable measures on the property and improved facilities and handling equipment to improve the final product.
