The sweater (not an original design) is from a Coopworth fleece that Theresa [Get Bentz Farm] spun.

The blue highlights are from Autumn Larch Farm, Coopworth dyed with Indigo.

The scarf (not an original design) is knit with yarn from a small concern in Wales.

Products offered:  Knitting patterns designed to be used with Three Rivers Fibershed yarns

I think I’ve always been a designer, or as my friends say “a dinker”.  I started as a teenager by designing a patchwork mini skirt knit in bright synthetic yarn, but thankfully progressed to using only natural fibers, preferably ones that are minimally processed.  I often design with Three Rivers Fibershed yarn in my desire to utilize local resources and promote sustainable practices.  And besides, their yarn is yummy:  lofty, squishy, with a wonderful clean sheep fragrance.

I design patterns for BadgerFace Fiber run by Theresa Bentz.  When she first started on her mill adventure, she would give me some new yarn and say, “make me something”.  And off I went…

You can find my designs at Theresa’s website, getbentzfarm.com, and my Ravelry shop listed under Bearcub Designs or dpearsal.
