Learn to Ply with Lindsey

Date: Saturday, May 18th 12:30-1:30 (will follow Spin With Ewe)

Do you have single bobbins you'd like to ply, or would you like to sample fiber without using multiple bobbins?  Join us for an hour of plying techniques from a single bobbin.  We will systematically go over how to construct a 2 ply yarn with a center pull ball and the Andean technique.  Taking it one ply further, we will chain ply (creates a 3 ply yarn). 

The two ply yarns are good techniques for a wheel or spindle.  Chain plying is quicker on a wheel, but can be accomplished on a spindle.  Beginner friendly.  Bring your spinner, singles, and a lazy kate if you have one. If you don't have them or don't know what they are, sign up anyway.  We will have a couple of wheels and lazy kates to use and singles yarn will be available to purchase. Beginner friendly.
